Manufactured facing stone Carpathian Courtyard
Picturesque and beautiful in their splendor, Carpathians captivate with their smooth climate, tranquility, extraordinary beauty of landscapes and amazing medieval royal fortresses and castles, including the famous Peleș Castle near Sinaia or the mysterious Bran Castle, the palace of Count Dracula. They were erected in those times, when heavy stone walls were not just a luxury or a sign of prosperity, but rather a vital necessity sheltering not only warrior knights, but also village people living on the lands of their feudal lords. High stone walls with ogival polygonal towers, low arches, bow windows and loopholes fascinate with their singularity and ancient power. Swords, spears and shields do not clank anymore in these walls. You will not hear the clatter of horses' hoofs. Only calm voices of tourists revive these places of former glory of Polish, Slovak, Germanic and Romanian princes. The ancient walls seem to be sleeping under the weight of past years. Its heavy stones remind us of eternal human passions, thirst for feats and glory. They have stood, still stand and will stand for many more centuries. And who knows, whether these outposts and fortresses will come to life again, whether a weapon and a horse harness will shine, whether a sharp blade will clink being taken out of the sheath ...
